5 Ways to Raise your Vibration

What the heck is low vibration and how do I get rid of it?

Low vibrating energy is anything that is holding you down, keeping you stuck and making you feel bad.


Back in the day, I was a people pleaser. I didn't want to let anyone down, and felt extremely guilty if I said no, which back then, I rarely did.


But trying to please everyone was exhausting. It caused a lot of anxiety for me, which left me frustrated and kinda depressed.


When I began digging in to high and low vibrational energy, I quickly realized, I was allowing low vibe energy in and it was wreaking havoc on my life.


I'm a constant work in progress. I'm always working on myself, wanting to grow and expand as much as possible. One of the things that I had to change was my mindset. In order to stop being a people pleaser and to stop allowing all of this low vibe energy in, I had to take back my power.


We're all in control of what we allow into our lives. Although a lot of the time we're running on autopilot and don't realize we actually do have the power to change our lives and stop allowing the negatives in.





Here are 5 easy ways to raise your vibe:


  1. Meditate: meditation is a great way to slow down and take back control. Meditation is an instant calmer of your spirit, which promotes peace and relaxation. Even 5 minutes a day, can change your life for the better. There are a lot of great meditation apps out there to help you in starting a practice. Calm, Buddify and Insight Timer are just a few you can use.

  2. Get Out in Nature: Being outside in nature is a powerful way to raise your vibe and connect with yourself. Get a blanket and lay on the grass and look up at the sky, walk with bare feet in the grass, pick flowers, etc.

  3. Get Moving: Movement will raise your vibe instantly. Go for a walk, run, bike ride, dance, go swimming, etc. By moving every day, you'll notice an instant increase in your positive energy.

  4. Drink Water: Staying hydrated is important for your physical health, and it's also important for your vibrational energy. Drinking water flushes our toxins and yep, you guessed it, toxins are low vibe energy.

  5. Be Grateful: I started using affirmations and practicing gratitude years ago. It'll raise your like no other. Even in the midst of hard times, there's always something to be grateful for. Being in a state of appreciation will allow high vibe energy to flow.

Vibrational energy is all around us and also within us. Being conscious of what we're allowing in is the first step in vibrating higher.


I love using affirmations and have a nice collection of card decks from two of my favorite authors. Louise Hay and Gabby Bernstein have been pivotal in my growth and expansion.

Each morning after I mediate, I pick a card from one of there decks and use it as my affirmation for the day.
